Libby Coghlan

Dance Teacher

Miss Libby is a dedicated dance teacher at JE Dancehouse. She is passionate about sharing her love of dance with her students and enjoys teaching children of all ages.

Libby began dancing at the age of three under the guidance of Dale-Maree Coles (International RAD Examiner) and Rebecca Tait-Wagner. She grew up training in the styles of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Irish Dancing; and has subsequently successfully completed her RAD Advanced 2 and Grade 8 Ballet examinations, CSTD Modern Jazz Grade 8 and Tap Advanced Gold.

Throughout her dancing career, Libby has performed in a number of annual productions, including ‘A Christmas Wish’. She has also worked alongside singer Josh Arnold, incorporating movement into his program ‘Small Town Culture’.

In 2013, Libby discovered her passion for dance teaching and choreography. During this time she choreographed the Philharmonic Society’s production of Aida and The Glennie School’s Production of 42nd Street.

Throughout her career, Libby has maintained a strong dedication to furthering her dance education in order to provide the best education to her students. She has attended many Queensland Ballet, Expression Dance Company and MAD Dance House dance intensives and workshops.
